Development Models and Frameworks for Electronic Governance
 
 

This research aims at developing program frameworks, comprising guidelines, toolkits, software, etc. that can guide public administrations and their agencies in their efforts to carry out large-scale development of Electronic Governance. By rigorously following a well-coordinated framework of initiatives that simultaneously embody international best practices and address local conditions, governments can increase predictability and reduce the risk associated with Electronic Governance development, while making sure that such initiatives are well connected with government strategies and policies.

Specific research themes include:

  • Establishing the state of readiness for Electronic Governance development in a given Public Administration (PA)
  • Developing agency-specific and government-wide strategies towards Electronic Governance in the PA
  • Constructing Electronic Governance development programs to implement the strategies in the PA
  • Sustaining program executions in the PA and aligning them to the broader PA reform objectives
