Measurement, Evaluation and Assessment of Electronic Governance
 
 

The aim of this research is to develop theories, guidelines and tools for assessing the readiness (pre-implementation) and impact (post-implementation) of Information and Communication Technologies on: (1) the working of government agencies and their interactions with citizens, business and one another; and (2) on development goals at various levels - individual, community, national, etc.

Major research themes include:

  • e-Governance readiness assessment for strategy and program development
  • Measuring digital divide in the Information Society
  • Assessing impact of ICT4D and e-Governance initiatives on development objectives
  • Monitoring and evaluation of e-Government development
