The audience could comprise: public officials from the Government of Nigeria responsible for Electronic Government and Public Sector Reform programmes, educators and researchers from academia interested in technology versus government issues, representatives of civil society, representative of the companies providing technology and organizational solutions to governments, etc.

 
Aim
 

The 11th Workshop on Electronic Governance in Developing Countries will be organized in Yaounde, Cameroon, as the elenventh in a series of workshops under the UNeGov.net initiative.

The aim of UNeGov.net is to build a Community of Practice interested in developing, sharing and applying concrete solutions for Electronic Governance, especially in developing countries. In addition to Workshops, the Community is supported by a Portal and an annual Conference on the Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance.

The aim of the Yaounde Workshop is to bring together experts and practioners from government, industry, academia and civil society interested in the development and utilization of Electronic Governance in Cameroon - plans, challenges and solutions, at both national and local levels. The role of research and international cooperation will also be discussed.
