Aim
 

The School on Electronic Governance will be organized as the 10th in a series of schools under the UNeGov.net initiative. The aim of UNeGov.net is to build a global Community of Practice interested in developing, sharing and applying concrete solutions for Electronic Governance through research, development and community-wide collaboration. The primary purpose of the School is to provide participants with a good understanding of Electronic Governance. Specifically, the school will teach how to carry out strategic planning and develop both organizational and technical structures for Electronic Governance. The school will also provide a medium for international and local experience sharing on e-Governance development.

 
Audience
 

The audience could comprise: public officials from the Government of Nigeria responsible for Electronic Government and Public Sector Reform programmes, educators and researchers from academia interested in technology versus government issues, representatives of civil society, representative of the companies providing technology and organizational solutions to governments, etc.
