Five e-Government courses developed by the Center for Electronic Governance at UNU-IIST are now available through the UNU Open Courseware portal at http://ocw.unu.edu.

The initiative is part of the Global Open CourseWare Consortium, a collaboration of more than 100 higher education institutions and associated organizations from around the world with a common mission of advancing education and empowering people worldwide through Open CourseWare.

According to the project coordinator Brendan Barrett, UNU’s participation on the consortium signifies its commitment to broaden access to high quality educational materials, and will contribute to the University’s core mission, which seeks to further the generation and transfer of knowledge in order to strengthen individual and institutional capacities to resolve pressing global problems.
