The workshop aims to build the understanding of the Electronic Governance domain and discuss opportunities for research and development in this area, while taking into account international best practices and referring to specific needs present in Jordan.
Target audience include: academics, educators, researchers and post-graduate students from technology-related, management-related or policy-related disciplines, interested in the use of Information Technology to transform government organizations and their relationships with citizens, businesses and one another.
Expected outputs are: awareness of e-Governance, building consensus between academia and government on e-Governance, building consensus in academia on the directions for e-Governance research, and a working group to draft a roadmap for e-Governance research.
